Wasteland Reverie 2023
On the 29th of June, I released what I considered to be my very first music album. A debut comprising compositions that are experimental in nature, deliberately timed, and forcefully pushed onto major streaming platforms. There are 12 songs, unplanned, with most of them written in a single sitting. I never intended for it to be groundbreaking or ‘new,’ but the story needed to be told. A traveler, existing in the same realm of survival and grief as we do, but perhaps in a different time, a time after the ‘world has ended.’
Psyrkus 2024
The thrill of crafting something I’ve always enjoyed listening to, wanted to create, and needed to release had me taking this endeavor a little more seriously this time. I find myself dedicating more time to thinking about what I want to accomplish. If it seems unusual to release a self-titled album as the second iteration, then consider Psyrkus as the embodiment of the bizarre. Psyrkus, whether regarded as a metal band or a musical artist, has always been on a mission to express and to aid in expression. This self-titled album will represent chaos and reason on opposite ends of the spectrum, a creative medium knowingly pushed to its limits, even if it risks spiraling out of control.
The voiceless are to be heard
Words have the power to hurt; they can be weaponized, twisted, and distorted. That’s why I’ve made the deliberate choice to keep our material devoid of lyrics.
2024 is around the corner and so will future updates be.
